Costa Maya Pyramids

This was a very interesting excursion that took us into the interior of Mexico to explore recently excavated pyramids. Our guide "Olta" was an absolute pixie, but very dynamic. She really knew about the history, as well as the local culture and habitat. I was snapping away, trying to capture a red bird in the brush, when my camera battery died - had to hike back to the bus for my spare.
